Bellows compensator is a device consisting of a bellows (bellows) and fittings, capable of absorbing or balancing relative movements of a certain magnitude and frequency occurring in hermetically connected structures, and conducting steam, liquids and gases under these conditions.
Bellows expansion joints are designed to provide effective protection of steam and hot water pipelines, process pipelines from static and dynamic loads arising from temperature deformations and vibrations.
Manufactured products are either serial, used for heating networks (axial compensators – types SKO, UKO, 2UKO, UKOU, 2UKOU, SKST, SKBK, 2SKBK, SKNK, 2SKNK), and non-serial (types SKO, SK, SKU, SKK, SKS , SKR), used in the reconstruction and construction of thermal power generation facilities, nuclear power plants, petrochemical industry, metallurgy, etc.
Characteristics of manufactured multilayer bellows expansion joints:
• types: universal (SK), axial (SKO), angular (SKU), cardan (SKK), shift (SKS), unloaded (SKR), starting (SKST), axial compensation devices (UKO) and dual (2UKO);
• operating temperature: from -170°C to +900°C;
• medium pressure: up to 8 MPa;
• nominal diameter (DN): from 80 to 1800 mm;
• bellows material: steel AISI 321, EN 1.4541, 08Х18Н10Т, 12Х18Н10Т, etc.;
• material of flanges, pipes, casings: carbon steel, alloyed and high-alloyed.
Bellows expansion joints are manufactured in accordance with TU 3113-002-38948552-2014, TU 3113-003-38948552-2014, TU 3113-004-38948552-2014. There are certificates and declarations of conformity, licenses for the design and manufacture of equipment for nuclear power plants.
