Application in oil refining:
1. primary oil refining as part of AVT installations; 2. reforming; 3. hydrocracking; 4. visbreaking; 5. delayed coking units (DCU); isomerization; 6. hydrogen production by steam reforming CH4 + H20 = CO2 + H2. Hydrogen is needed to produce EURO-5 class fuels.
Application in petrochemicals:
1. pyrolysis of hydrocarbons (ethane, propane, light gasoline fractions) in the production of ethylene and propylene. 2. pyrolysis of dichloroethane to obtain vinyl chloride. 3. utilization and neutralization of by-products.
