The founder, St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, was a visionary educator; therefore, CMI institutions are distinct. Today, the CMI Congregation manages around 900 institutions, including universities, colleges, hospitals, schools etc. Some of the prestigious institutions are Christ University, Kristu Jayanti university, Rajagiri institutions, Chavara institutions, Silver Hills institutions.
We, the CMI St.Joseph Province, managing more than 10 educational institutions under the name Christ Nagar in Thiruvananthapuram district. In Thiruvananthapuram, we provide education to more than 16,000 students and employment to more than 1500 people.
